DR. MIKE LIGGETT
Dr. Mike Liggett is a native Arkansan. He attended the University of Tennessee in Memphis and returned to Arkansas after graduating in 1972. In 1987, Dr. Mike opened Parklane Dental at Creekmore Park. Three years later, he opened his second location in Central Mall. In 2005, Parklane Dental continued to expand by opening its third office in Rogers, Arkansas at Village on the Creeks. Dr. Mike is a member of the American Academy of General Dentistry and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Over 40 years of practicing his passion of Cosmetic Dentistry and Restorative Dentistry led Dr. Liggett not only to perfect the smile, but the face as well; Dr. Mike is also certified to administer Botox and Juvederm for the improvement of lines and wrinkles. Dr. Mike believes in prevention and gentle dental care with an oral hygiene program that is second to none, representing Parklane Dental’s philosophy toward affordable, lasting, and truly beautiful dental care.
DR. KRIS LIGGETT
Dr. Kris Liggett was born and raised in Fort Smith. He travelled south to Dallas to pursue his dream of joining the family business. After graduating from Southern Methodist University in 2003 Dr. Kris continued on to Texas A&M; Health Sciences Center, Baylor College of Dentistry. He completed his dental training in 2007. After well over a decade of practicing alongside his father (Dr. Mike) at Parklane Family Dental he enjoys having a well rounded practice that offers comprehensive care for his patients. Dr. Kris takes particular pride in being able to alleviate patients’ pain through dental solutions. As a member of the American Dental Association and the Arkansas State Dental Association he stays up-to-date with new technology and innovations in dentistry. Dr. Kris enjoys travel and cuisine, reading, music and animals. He now resides in Fayetteville, AR with his partner and their dog Graham, but can meet your needs at any of our three offices. He swears by the power toothbrush, which not only tracks the time of your brushing session, but does all the work for you.
DR. Catherine Akridge
Dr. Catherine Akridge was born in Little Rock but grew up in Virginia Beach, VA. She returned to Fayetteville to attend the University of Arkansas where she developed a love for the Northwest Arkansas community. After graduating with her DDS from Louisiana State University in 2018, she returned to the area to share her passion and expertise for quality dentistry. She is a dentist in Rogers, AR and Fort Smith, AR.
Dr. Cat currently serves as the Secretary of the Northwest District Dental Society. She has interests in holistic dentistry and biological dentistry, mercury free/mercury safe dentistry, myofunctional therapy, and she is also good friends with the Tooth Fairy.
Dr. Cat is committed to excellence in dentistry and is a strong believer in patient communication and education. She is dedicated to spending the extra time needed so that patients leave the office feeling understood and included in their treatment plans.
